Located on the site of a former grocery store in downtown Menomonie, Commonweal saw a demand for housing in downtown. They worked closely with the City of Menomonie as well as UW-Stout to develop a project that downtown could be proud of. Commonweal worked to help secure financing for the project, worked closely through the design process and continued on as construction administrator through the process. As the project came close to completion, Commonweal worked to lease not only the apartments, but also the commercial space on the first floor. Commonweal has continued on since opening as the property management company for 503 Broadway.
